What is engine carburetor? Is there a need for so-called techical secret in it? Honestly saying even after reading this articles twice, i still believe doing it practically is the way to go by trial and error. On the other hand, one still need to know the basic of engine carburetor function. Especially in RC 2 stroke engine.
For RC Nitro rookie or newbie, learning to tune the carb is like learning to ride a bicycle. Well, at least for me. Once you’ve got the hang of turning the needles clockwise & anti clockwise, you did it right and believe me, you will never forget it.

Latest news from lockmouth. The no e-clip mod. great stuff. Continue from 1st post here…
I got the hinge pin upgrades for the front upper and the front lower hinge pins, but that left me with the e-clips on the outer arms front and back.

Ok, I am really sorry for all the inconveniences. Especially to you my supporters. It seems my hosting wanna upgrade something to better the service. I, for one agree for this upgrade but in the same time, really disappointed because it happened when it matter most. It happen at the peak time for my USA viewers and my Malaysian time. I noticed my visitors drop and email getting full with the “WHY….” questions. I hope this problem will not happen. The blog already suffers a lot during the Taiwan earthquake… im sorry that happen to them.. but TM Streamyx should be responsible for that too. Hey, they took my money and i expect better service. Am i not right?
Anyway, im just rambling words now. my English is poor and so does the connection. Hahhahaha!
ok, i hope this post is readable. If not.. another notch down for the hosting.

OK, it is not Nitro. I would have said “Sorry…” BUT what the heck. Any good article, deserve to be in this blog.
Now this is what i call dedication and pure interest to the max. I salute this guy. Now, who am i talking about? I also do not know. He’s only known as Joeling in rctech. But he is friendly and i’m sure you’ll thank me and mesmerized by what he put his time to writing all these. Valuable post. you will agree me when you finished reading it.
Introduction
I began to take rc seriously again after a 15 year layoff. Of course, ’serious’ is pretty relative in terms of the overall scheme of things. I was a basher & will probably always be one. I have never raced rc at any competitive level in my previous life either. I’m not about to change. Instead, I have always been a tinkerer, trying to make something different, though not necessarily better. In addition, I only knew electric stuff – no nitro for me. Hmm, thinking back now, I kind of remember that nitro was starting to take off just as my interest was fading. Could the two be linked ?

The best of STS in offroad style. The STS .21T, Custom Team engine. With its green head, it can’t be mistaken for anything else. It not only screams at top end..it also has tons of torque!. This is not for newbie. This is for serious racer who wants nothing else but pure performance. I know this engine been out for awhile but i just got to post it here again. You may have other expensive italian made engine, but you just can’t ignore this beast. I can only say from many posts that read in the rctech and other forums, that this engine not only at par with other expensive engine, eg. the italian origin, it also passed them on the straight!.

Well I started out with a Savage X kit I got this year in June. It was good and all but I knew I would fall into the money pit called the Savage. So I slowly started upgrading her, and well here is my project story.
This is what is looked like before I got all the parts:

First major thing I got for my Savage was an STS 28, I have heard good and bad things about this motor but I got it and I wanted to see the hidden power in this beast:

The next thing I got was Aluminum Diff Cups, Diff Cases and Bulkheads, and CVDs, HD Wheel Dogbones, HD Drive Cups all round:

Then I encountered a problem which was that the Savage X shock towers didn’t work which I knew but I had to modify them:

Then you get this:

Then the next thing I got which means alot to me where Twisted Toys LCG Stock Length TVPs:
