Maxx Crazy Fast LRP Button mod! The How?

Just got this compiled after been scouring the rc forum long and hard. I end up at LST Forums. Hahahha. Thanks to Maximo, supertib!!
Here the not so fast one.. before the button mod…
MAX MODS fully modified LRP spec-2 test and tune, idle is hi but it makes it a little easier to dial in the motor.
The Button mod!
Here, the AFTER… SEE HOW CRAZY FAST IS THAT!!! It scream at the top..and still wanna go..but no space! Hahaha!

That’s pretty crazy. The engines certainly have alot of top end. Tickover is really racing though. Anyone care to explain why this button mod has such a profound effect? Or has he done a whole host of other porting, polishing and crank mods as well?

horatio, u can fin the detail in rctech if u dig deep in the exclusive engine thread. there’s a good website for it too but i lost the link. Its the Indian engineer or something did it. with full explanation! AND CHECK THE OTHER WEB ARTICLE FROM ENGINE MASTERS DOT COM!

The engine was timed and modded by neil, it was fast but something was missing. After alot of pipe/header changes and alot of time tunning it neil decided that the motor needed a relief cut in the button. So with his help I cut the button and shaped it to what you see in my picture above, after that it was a whole new animal

animal.. that is not some normal animal, that’s wild beast of some sort!!!
