Nordic Xray Challenge RC Final Result
This is the Final Result of the Nordic Xray Challenge 2007 that been held in Denmark on April 14th and 15th and attended by Juraj Hudy using his Xray XB8EC. But on this race, It was Robert Gustafsson took the win with his OS powered Xray.
The final was a great one! Starting out with a 10min timeout for Christoffer Svensson who had radio issues, this drama would follow in the final…Anyway, after sorting that out the final started, Hazlewood lead away with Robban and Palsson close by, this trio would swap positions for sometime. Meanwhile Svensson after starting from the pits had worked himself up into 4th place, albeit someway back. 20min in, and Robert and Hazlewood were battling with different fuel strategies, and Svensson was driving impressively in 3rd.
However this run would end as Svensson flamed out, and then he had engine issues; spoiling a great run. Hazlewood and Gustafssen continued, racing closely, however Gustafssen pulling out enough of a lead in the last 10mins to cruise to a fine win in the fabulous Danish summer-like day at the 07 Nordic XRAY Race.
