CEN Racing Dominates - Florida State Off Road Series Round 5

Round 5 of the Florida State Off Road Series was help at the World Famous Lake Park In Tampa with 188 entries. Cen Racing had a strong showing by putting a total of 8 cars & trucks in the A-mains.
In Expert 1/8 Buggy, Gene Hickerson put his CEN Matrix Buggy 3rd on the grid, while Cen’s newest driver, Travis Scrambling, put his new Matrix 7th in the A-main. Hickerson had a servo go bad while in 2nd, and Scrambling finished a respectable 8th with his first race with the Matrix.
In 1/8 Truck, there was 4 CEN Matrix TR Arena’s in the A-main. Lead by Gene Hickerson who qualified 2nd and finished 2nd, Kyle Sokol, Tony Brown, and Tony Pattishall also put their CEN’s in the show. This was Brown’s and Pattishall’s 1st race with the TR Arena.
Not only were there Cen’s in the expert classes, but also in the 1/8 Sportsman Buggy A-main. Non sponsored driver, Bob “Spanky” Bjorkman, again put his Matrix in the show for the 2nd time in a row, while fast upcomer privateer, Jesse Olsen, put his new Matrix in the A-main also. This was also Olsen’s 1st race with the Cen Buggy.
