Interesting news here. Is there really a Team Losi Xray Hybrid Buggy here? Now, this news which had been featured at Neobuggy.net is actually Jon Hazlewood’s Xray XB8 Buggy.
Check the font upper arm linkage, any familiarity with the other branded buggy from USA?

Update: To be fair, it has been pointed out that this has been tried out before, in early 06 pre Losi times…but hey the pic is kinda cool?From Jon Dell’s statement:
We have been trying out new parts which we, as part of the Xray team, are continually thinking of. We are currently testing these ideas in a hope that it will make the product better. Sometimes prototype parts are not always ideal for the customer as for instance they may not be stronger or right for the club racer at every track. As and when any new part has been proven better Xray will release the new part to the customer with our recommendation to its use, example being the XB8 EC kit and its revised parts over the TQ.

I am very happy with the result from yesterday’s race, but I do think Jon would have been able to achieve the same result with a box stock XB8 (with a few JD mods J). I would like thank Xray for their help together with Proline, Bryon Fuels, Pacer Racing, Topoptions.com, KO, Ace Servos with the win.
