RC Pro Site Press Release Announcement
We would like to apologize to RC Pro for being late to announce this press release. We somehow quite late to receive the email. But as some said, better late than never. So here right from the rcprosales email 
This is actually information that was release on the RC Pro site before the 1st of the year but we have talked to so many people that apparently didn’t read we felt it was worth repeating.
There have been some changes to the points system based on input from the racers. In 2006 we adjusted the points counts to close up the competition and it seemed to work out pretty good since we had more people in the running at the finals than in years past.
In 2007 we added a few things as well! This year each racer will get attendance points. For each event a racer attends he/she will receive 5 attendance points. Each racer can count up to 15 (3 events) attendance points, not counting the finals. This is designed to give the racers who attend all these races something extra.Also this year for the 1st time, each racer can score points outside their division. Meaning you can run your division events for your division championships and also score points for a race you run outside your division. This also works good if you couldn’t get to some of the races in your division. There are some stipulations to this though.
1) points from outside your division will not be used to determine division placement.
2) points scored outside of your division can be used in your national points standings only.
3) no matter how many races you run only your best two scores will be used toward your national points total and added to your points scored at the finals to determine the finals national standings.We talk to the racers at each event and listen for good ideas and what they would like to see. So when you are at an event and have what you think is a way to improve things please stop by and let us know.
