We have just received this great reporting on the recent RC Pro East Series Round #2. Our report came direct from the man who conquered the 1/8 Expert Buggy Class himself, CEN’s Gene ‘the machine’ Hickerson. Here is his report without editing.
Round 2 of the RC Pro East Series was held last weekend at Lake Park in Tampa Florida. Drivers came down to sunny FL from as far as North Carolina to compete for the East Coat RC Pro Championship. There was around 145 entries even with a 60% chance of rain. Friday was open practice on the fast and technical layout. JR Mitch was spotted driving his Team Associated RC8 for the 1st time since the ROAR Nationals last month. I drove really bad at the Nationals, as 63rd was by far the worst I have ever done at a National race in my 21 year racing career, so I was thinking about making changes to my car to find some extra speed to get back on pace. Lake Park is only 1.5 hours from my house, so I am very familiar with the track. I am currently looking for a new engine sponsor, so I bought an OS Speed .21 for my buggy.

We have been waiting for this truggy specific servo, the new KO PROPO PDS 2386 and it finally is out for us truggy craze fan. Thanks to KO Propo, we will definitely order this in the new future.
With 240 OZ/IN of torque, this servo can even pull our 3 years old child out under the blanket. I probably kidding there but that is the fact. With full metal gears throughout, built in heat sink, new motor and bushing collared upper case, there is no wonder why this servo survived the torture in the last year 1/8 Worlds. Just great. We definitely got to have this in our own possession.

The engine that won the recent 2007 European Championship in the hand of Robert Batlle, the Axe Cobra 214R21 X1 engine. Thanks to RedRC.net we got the first picture out of the buggy look.
The engine has turbo glow plug head, new crankshaft and a special plastic insert to top it all. There are other small changes of course but same like you all, we wish we have more pictures of this awesome engine to show them closely. Please keep coming back for more.

The European Championship 2007 held in Auxerre, France had ended earlier last week and the man who was on top of the podium is none other than the Top qualifier man himself, Robert Batlle. He is now officially the 2007 European Champion.
Driving his New Released Hobao Hyper 8.5 Pro Buggy and powered by the Axe Engine, Robert claimed the right to brag as the fastest racer in the 2007 Euro Championship. He claimed the Top Qualifier position led by 1 point only to the second position, the former European Champion, Yannick Aigoin. Sadly, the final left Yannick at the no.22. It was his brother, Jerome Aigoin made it to the no.7 in the final. Interestingly, the Robert Batlle TQ also meant that Yannick Aigoin record of going for the hat trick Euro Top qualifier did not come true. Furthermore, Robert deserved the pole position for his great run at the round 3 and 4. Of course with his display of run in the final, leaving two of the Ninja powered Mugen buggies behind, no one could denied his Hyper 8.5 Pro with the assistance of the powerful Axe engine, his father as the mentor and skillful mechanic Armiche, he took the checkered flag with proud. Congratulation, Robert!

We just got this detail report from the most consistent top driver in Malaysia. He is none other than David Lim. Driving his Kyosho Buggy powered by Werks .21B7 Pro engine to the top of the podium once again with the TQ cup in his hand too at the recent Malaysian FEMCA Qualifying Race, round 3 dated 8th July 2007. We have him here at the last LRP Asian Nitro Masters 2007. It all happened at the Glenmarie HPC with newer track design.

We just managed to get hold this announcement from RCPro and we also had featured it earlier The Nitro Beach Carribean Offroad Challenge back in May 3rd, 2007. It is definitely going to be the talk of the town or should we say, Island . Imagine racing on the World Class Offroad track at the private Vila del Mar Hau Resort in Isabella Puerto Rico. Just being there is enough to meet your dream, what more participating in the race. Just simply awesome.

Once again, we are proud to feature another record win by our friend and top driver for Team CEN Racing, Gene “the machine” Hickerson. He won on the previous 5th round at Farmer’s Raceway of the Florida State Offroad Series in the 1/8 truck class and now on the final 8th round, he once again Top Qualified the truck class for the incredible five times TQ. This of course resulting him as the FSORS Champion for the 3rd time in 3 years! Well done and congratulation, Gene!

We already featured some of The ROAR Gas Buggy videos but we just got this video specifically for the Top Qualifier Ryan Maifield and Ryan Cavalieri on the top performing Team Associated RC8 buggy. But bad luck in the end. 
We really sorry to hear the story and the result shown. From the video, their RC8 buggy definitely have the edge. So sad but so true too. Next time RC8.

We just found out this RC Truggy news from our partners RedRC.Net that it was won by Zac Ryan, a newbie on Hongnor X1CRT truggy. Even though he just had the truggy for this Queensland truggy State Title but he managed to TQ’d (Top qualified) the class and won it.
