Tabushi podium finish picture

Tabushi and his team of Pits Hobby Shop I have to say made an impact on this race outing. They conquered the podium and leave everyone else at the bottom. Just for info, Tabushi is Patricio “Pato” Concha and together with his other team mate Mario Utria were driving with Jammin new engine the Jammin JPX.21 and Maxy’s Fuel and M2C Racing 4 shoes clutches. While their Team Boss, owner of Pits Hobby Shop, Rodrigo Echeverri was using Ofna Hyper 8.5 for the first time. Well done and congratulation to all of you.

RC Leisure - RC mirror?!?

Monday, October 29th, 2007 160 views

Since this is a personal blog and it is simply unavoidable not to talk about personal thing here. Hope you all do not mind. I remembered one of the many conversations I had with my wife regarding RC. Now, I always hope that one day I can drive my RC car as well as Masami Hirosaka. I know, I know, you guys out there might say that I put my hope too high but hey who knows I might. I nearly name my first child Masami you know but my wife against it. She said “Who is this Masami that you adore so much? Is he a movie star?” I still remember she asked me that question.

I simply answer her “Well dear, Masami is not a movie star or a singer. He is the RC world champion in 1/12th scale electric, 1/10th scale Pan, 1/10th scale 2WD off road and 1/10th scale 4WD, all electric and you know what?” I asked her.

“How am I supposed to know dear since he is your “STAR”.” my wife replied.

Florida State Off-Road Series 2008 | Round 1

As always, another great report coming from our friend, Gene “The Machine” Hickerson. Enjoy his report but sadly, he did not join the 1/8 Truck aka RC Truggy class for he surely has the chance of going hat-trick on the championship points. However knowing Gene as humble person, we think he made the right decision to let others get the hands on the truggy class he won for consecutive 2 years in a row. Good for you Gene :D

We are in the process of upgrading…

Sunday, October 14th, 2007 188 views

We are very sorry to all loyal readers and visitors. We are in the process of upgrading, maintenance mode. You will experience some glitches and some data errors. This is an unavoidable. The technical team handling is no where expertise in their field except doing some radio control tweaking. Therefore, we as the racers, same like you, just have to close our eyes and hope for the best.

Hope everything will be up and running sooner than we expected. We already give them deadline :D

Gene The Machine Hickerson on RC Pro East Series final round at Phil Hurd Raceway

Thursday, October 4th, 2007 328 views

Gene “The Machine” Hickerson report on the final of 2007 RC Pro East Series that was held at Phil Hurd Raceway.

RC Pro East Series champions picture

The 3rd and final round of the 2007 RC Pro East Series was held last weekend in Savannah Georgia at Phil Hurd Raceway. It was a good turnout of about 140 entries as the best of the East battle for the title of RC Pro East Champion. The track was a good combination of fast sections and really slow sections with tons of small double jumps and 1 huge double jump in the middle. There was no place to make up any time on the layout, but many places where you could easily loose time; so the racing was very close as everyone had about the same lap times.
