It is happening again. The race that we all been waiting for, The HMS Racing 1/10th and 1/8th GP Race. HMS Racing had their big race before back at 27th January 2008 and it was also considered very successful event by many. Well, the race reached way beyond the sun horizon. Till no more sun shining and no lights to look for other than the 1/8th lola bodies racing in the dark. Hahaha. Pretty awesome sight as we remember it. HMS Racing Cup Final Result.

Entrance Fee: 1 category RM130 / 2 category RM220 (lunch not included)

Currently, as the above listed correct at GMT +8hrs, 36 1/10th racers and 15 1/8th racers. We have not seen the previous HMS Racing Cup TQ guy, Mizan name there yet but we are sure he will confirmed his attendance in a near future. As you can see, Emeel is there to defend his title for the second time.

Team Xray is definitely serious in defending their foothold here in Kota Kinabalu Sabah. Nevetheless, Kolombong Inanam HMS Racing Speedway is the land of the Serpent drivers and we are very very sure they will want to get back the title once and for all this time. However, do not discount the Team Kyosho from Brunei and from Kuala Lumpur, especially Badrul. He is one of the top driver in Malaysia if we are not mistaken. You can be assured of very close fight to the top ten and TQ spot. Even the Singaporean are coming. Remember CH Tay? Well, he is also one of the top driver from Singapore to register for this race. Awesome match.

We are only talking the 1/10th 200mm Touring gas powered car here. As you can see, it is the popular class in comparison with the 1/8th scale big gun Lola body car.

Nevertheless, 1/8th scale, the F1 GP as we call it, is of course the main class here where the real big boys like to show their skills. As always, the top racer quite late in registering their names. It is still early though. We have not seen the previous 1/8th Champion, Anthony Wee and Haji Jusri but we see Sunny Wong, the top buggy racer from Sibu Sarawak. This race going to be interesting for sure.
