HMS Racing

Another updates to HMS Racing October 2008 GP Race. As you can see from the list, especially the 1/8th class, there are many 1/10th racers also trying their skills at 1/8th. This is of course good for RC community as a whole. The more the merrier and the more fun it’s going to be in the final.

Daniele Lelasi 2008 1/10th 200mm World Champion in Portugal

Sunday, August 17th, 2008 89 views

Daniele Lelasi finally did it by winning the 2008 1/10th 200mm World Championship Final in Portugal. He missed the recent 1/8th World Final due to his radio problem but not on this 1/10th class. His consistency and patience knowing the final was a 1 hour race, he drove carefully with just enough tire diameter to last the whole race and finish as the top driver in the world. Congratulation to Daniel Lelasi driving Kyosho, powered by Picco engine with ATS tires.

Long RC Break again!

Sunday, August 17th, 2008 51 views

Sorry for the long break. It has been a wild 2 weeks for me and sadly this RC Nitro Blog had been ignored during the time. I am totally sorry to all my readers. Please forgive me.

I can’t help it. I just want to tell what have been done during the 2 weeks.

  1. Our Sabahan Bloggers Gathering. This was totally wild. It involved around 120 plus bloggers with different topic to each name and all from Sabah, my state.
  2. The SBG afterparty and Karaoke session. All taking tolls to my body and mind. Hahaha. Obviously, the alcohol couldn’t stop pouring.
  3. My Twins Preston and Presley first One Year Birthday :D . Supposed to be family affair only but end up big and again, the alcohol just could not stop intoxicating us all.
  4. Beijing 2008 Olympic, China with our Malaysian shuttler, Lee Chong Wei going for the First Malaysian Gold in the Men’s Single Badminton. He’ll be instant Millionaire if (when) managed it. The anticipation make us all nervous.

Xray new Aluminium CVD Drive Axle for the XB808 buggy. This is a new lightweight Swiss 7075 T6 hardcoated aluminium. It is 3 times lighter than the stock wheel axle. A total saving of up to 20grams at all wheel ends.

Precision machined with highest tolerances using premium fully-automatic German CNC-machines. High-quality hardcoating is done at XRAY’s own in-house fully-robotic hardcoating line, ensuring a perfect hardcoated surface every time.

However, as usual to all creation, none has no limit life. Everything has its limit. This is what Xray announcement to all.

NOTICE: It is important to note that while these axles are very strong they do have a more limited lifespan than steel versions, and as such they should be inspected more frequently.

Another update of the HMS Racing October 2008 Race racers list. Interestingly after the recent Euro 2008 Championship, certain brand name just pop up in the list. We are more than happy to see them listed. The 1/8th class definitely the class to watch on this race. We cannot wait. We too excited I guess.

Radio Control Prizes?

Sunday, August 3rd, 2008 99 views

This is just one of our boring session again. This time we thought of talking about the “Prizes”. You know, the things that you get, well if you get them anyway, on the final of any Radio Control Car events. Do you expecting any cash reward or something like this …

The home theater sconces??? Pretty cool eh? ;)

There is nothing impossible in this world. Well we can safely said it is impossible for us to win the next world championship in either the off road or on road GP events. However, if the sponsorship coming form the furniture industry? I believe not only you will take their chairs and sofa, you will probably agree the whole lights and candles they offer! Haha. Why not?

On the other hand, it will be really awkward to come back home with sofa, telling your spouse that you won it as the first prize, as champion. Hahaha.

Thank you for reading up to here our most boring session of the week. Duhh :P
