Tuesday, September 23rd, 2008 363 views

Waaah!! This is maybe for real. The Motonica P10, 1/10th GP Car kit. Thanks to our partner from 3hobby.net we got this first peek last night. Interesting design indeed and probably unlike its 1/8th Motonica P8.0R, this kit looks to be like the others. Actually from the picture, nothing spectacular but as sometimes for us, we totally wrong. Haha :D

Nice title eh? Well, yes. The Motonica P8.0R 2008 Car Kit and upgrade are here to stay. I am very delighted to see it on the counter at our local hobbyshop, HMS Racing.

my Motonica P8.0R boxes

Eder, the HMS Racing staff text messaged me, “Your Motonica kit has arrived! Come and be happy!”. I was in the office and immediately I found the reason to go out and fetch it. Haha. How can you wait. I have been waiting for the whole 3 weeks and talking leisurely about Motonica. Haha. Watching the rest of the guys on the track with their Serpent 960, practicing and laughing away, I just have to try the other brand without thinking - Motonica P8.0R!

Another exciting product coming from Xray. The Super Lightweight Solid Axle for the racers. The solid axle is 56% lighter than the standard solid axle. It’s ultra strong one piece CNC machined from HUDY Spring Steel and coming with it is another lightweight, the aircraft aluminum pulley adapter.

RC Leisure With Motonica Car Kit!

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008 283 views

Yeah, its that break again for some rc leisure talk here. It is not that we don’t know anything about rc or heard any rc news out there. It is just we are not interested in it. However, some products need to be mentioned and some rc news need to be published whether we like it or not. Simply because we are sponsored!!!! Hahaha.

Anyway, we are really quite busy with ourselves trying to get into the real nitro on-road racing. We after all offroaders. WE love dirty things. We love dirty tracks. We are not used to asphalt track. We preferred the dirt, the grass and occasionally, the mud.

However, life is not all rosy or beautiful. Even though maintaining off road track is much easier than the on-road track, we are indeed still lack of a single off-road track here. Sad but true. We just have to bite our lips and join the on-road guys. Hate it but got to. It is in the blood to race radio control and being at home, with no offroading is just not good for your health.
