STS Engine 21B, 21T, 21E and D28M and 30M
It is all about this great engine from Taiwan. STS engine from 21B, 21T, 21E, D28M to D30M. people been asking what engine to get, whats the difference. You can check here STS Archive category to get the glimpse of what you getting into when buying either one. It still lack of 21E report though. I wish someone provide me with this info. I know it saves fuel. In a 10 minutes qualifying, one does not have to come to pit to refuel. How cool and important is that!!!!. Less pit stop means more time on the track to better your qualifying record. So, if you got this engine, pls let me know. Thanks.

you can see from the chart, there is no RPM data. This is what STS Taiwan explained, I quote:
Q: Can you tell me the specifications about RPM, HP etc?
A: Till now there is no official laboratory can test the micro engine’s horsepower. All manufactures is just estimate the HP and RPM. It doesn’t make sense if we know it is a lie but we still list it.
Now, i totally agree with that statement. Now if you asked about the difference between 28M and 30M, well the ports alone can tell you that the 5 Ports D30M is a RPM engines. More holes usually represent higher RPM. The term “Usually” is used based on my understanding that more ports needed for higher RPM engine due to more fuel and air needed and be expelled out to the exhaust thus creating “speedier” rotation process. Do i make myself clear?? I got confused too… Hahhaha. well, let me quote. thats my understanding. you can comment down there if you like. i appreciate it anyway. 
Pssst… just check the 21T porting. Now thats a very high RPM engine. you need good pipe to unleash its power. Recommend STS pipe of coz.
By looking at the “cylinder content”, the D30M is more c.c. thus “usually” means more power!. More power means, wheelie time! Hahaha!. But by all mean… STS D28M is no slouch too. Furthermore, its legal for sanction race. It may have 3 ports, but it mega powerhouse too. Check here the chart comparison with other engines.
