The main purpose is to increase runtime on one full tank of fuel on a car by reducing the exhaust gas temperature going to the tank. Interesting eh?

During the EC-A 2008 which was held in a very hot Valencia many drivers had problems to make the five minutes on 1 fuel tank.

After our team manager handed out some prototype parts of our new ‘Exhaust Gas Cooler‘ to our team drivers (Vuga, Collari, Balestri, Pietsch, Pirani, Lackner to name a few) they where able to use the full potential of their 359 Race . 21 engines again because they did not have to worry about five minutes anymore.

Here the official press release from Novarossi website:

The Exhaust Gas Cooler is mounted between the tuned pipe and the fuel tank and so it will take away some heat from the exhaust gas that goes into the fueltank, lowering the temprature of the fuel and increasing the runtime.

Our ‘Exhaust Gas Cooler’ (part number: 36000) is available in purple anodization.
Shipping starts after our holiday closure (25th of August).

After his great first race exposure, check his first hms race video, he once again here showed that he is the person to beat at this track, the Kolombong Inanam HMS Speedway Track.

You want to know which one is he, well that is easy. The one in front of course. He was the one with Pink and Black Xceed body. Sorry for the video quality. Our Video personnel forgotten to bring “her” real video cam.

Anyway, we found out that the car that chased him is our current top driver, Sam Chong. Even with his lack of track time, Sam Chong still got the touch of a top driver. Nevertheless, KS Chu managed to hold the non-stop threat from him and got the TQ position even with faulty set clutch. Just awesome driving – plain and simple.

Well done to this young driver. We cannot wait for his first ever big race competing with other experience drivers throughout Malaysia and Brunei. We hope success only to him. This coming HMS October GP Race will be his trial for his future outing. All the best to him.

As we always tell jokes at every post we made here, Christmas Santa Claus will bring lotsa present earlier and that Christmas dinner recipes will be much appreciated sooner than before. Hooray to KS Chu.

The videos are a bit blur but you can see that he really good in driving. You have to remember, he is not a GP car driver originally. He drives more his EP kit S400 but that’s electric and this is the F1 of any radio control car. This is the 1/8th scale gas powered car capable of hitting 100KM/h easily and as you can see, his driving is still as smooth as he drives his EP. Awesome. As we always end with a joke, no need to order Phentermine. Nope, no need there. Haha.

Our Local Team Serpent Sabah driver, Mr. KS Chu, a sponsored driver, is having his good run at the front of the pack during the recent HMS Weekend Fun Race 21st Sept 2008 at HMS Racing Speedway.

KS Chu, is no stranger to podium finish at any electric powered race organized here locally. He has been multiple champions and top qualified many races but never touch the gas powered car. He used to drive the HotBodies Cyclone EP car but only with the Serpent S400 electric car that made him many times champions. Interestingly, as he told us before, he never interested in any gas powered car, to be specific, his reason is because of the cost involve in running and maintaining the car. More expensive than the EP car, he said. Of course, we argued with him on this matter simply because we drive gas powered car for a long time already and the cost of racing the EP car is also expensive. Haha.

Nevertheless, due to his modesty, friendly attitude and not to mention a smooth driver on the track, he suddenly became the target to everyone or in other words, a rare gemstone that need some polishing. Thanks to one man, a friend to all, a businessman and also a dedicated racer himself, Mr. David decided to take KS Chu under his wing and mold him to be the next upcoming champion of HMS Racing in the Gas Powered Car world. With limitless sponsor to drive the 1/8th scale Serpent 960, KS Chu just need to focus on driving and nothing else to worry.

He almost captured he first ever real race champion tag at the recent HMS weekend fun race. He Top qualified the race but only to be DNF (Did Not Finish) at the final. All due to some loose Rear Pivot Ball with his Serpent 960. What a bad luck on his first race.

Nevertheless, he showed to everyone that he is the one to be feared on the next race outing. He showed that an EP driver can also do it even in the Gas Powered Car class. With smooth driving, focus and determination, anything is possible for this kid. We can already imagine his GP racing future and we can say confidently here, he is one to keep. Mr. David will not be disappointed with his sponsorship. We joke this among us, David no need to send him for the truck driving school. That will be a disaster. Hahaha. Just kidding.

Another great story to tell. We will be bringing more stories of his progress (which we’re sure more podium finish) and also about other racers that we feel worthy of publishing here. Please, if you have anything to comment, you can reply at the comment box below. If you have any good story like this, please inform us. We will gladly publish it for everyone’s motivation. Thanks for reading.
