Mark Pavidis moves to Kyosho USA, this is the news we got courtesy of our RC News partner, RedRC.net. To those who does not know who is Mark, well let just say he won big on 2006 IFMAR Jakarta as the World Champion driving his Kyosho buggy with OS engine. yeah, that was him.

Having Mark on staff will give us a distinct advantage because he’s raced at the highest level of competition in the world for decades. Not only will he be able to design new products, his considerable racing skill will allow him to test them to the highest limits. Combined with the considerable talents of Gil Losi, Jr., we’re very excited about the possibilities of future products that will result from our newly-formed team.

Proline own Team drivers Scott Hughes and Mark Pavidis champions their classes at the recent Southern California Saturday Series round 3. Interestingly for us this 2 faces look familiar when they took picture side by side, or in this case, cropped to be together. Remember the world Final? Well never mind that, it is more interesting to see Scott win his truggy class with his new radio team, Futaba after Scott recent move from KO Propo. Do you think he made the right decision? I think the win answer the question.
Congrats to Scott and of course to Mark Pavidis too on his buggy class.

RedRC.net has a very interesting report on the sealed deal done between Kyosho and Team Orion CRF, the Swiss Company. Seeing that it is actually happened that no more Italian Sirio engine for Kyosho Team, it is therefore no surprise of the why Adrien Bertin left Sirio earlier on to join Team Orion. With Josh Cyrul already in, the first picture Kyosho CRF engine is bound to come out for us to see. Thanks to RedRC.Net for keeping the tab for us on the updates.

These shocks have been seen on the cars of Yuichi Kanai and Cody King at this weeks Silver State race, but World Champ Mark Pavidis didnt get a set, and by the looks of them they are in the pre production stage of development.

Thanks to our RC Partners RedRC.Net, we get this post for our first peek of this Norwegian first round buggy cup. It was held at a very extreme condition. It was the snow that prohibit all the 74 signed up to attend the race. Nevertheless, 54 racers managed to race on a very tricky, snowy track. Now thats what we call, COOL TRACK!
After qualifying, Kyosho racer, Tom Erik Haaversen took the TQ spot followed by Viggo Andreassen and Ronny Myhre in 2nd and 3rd respectively. In the main race itself it was Rune Karlsen who took the early lead and held onto it till the end to take the win while 2nd position went to pole man Tom Erik Haaversen with Anders Mehren ending the race in 3rd.

On the other hand, for a thorough report from the 3rd winner himself, Mr. Anders Mehren, Please go to another of our RC Partner, Buggy-Sport.Info.
For the 45 minutes of final, we were very excited since it had been so close racing in the semi finals and it would be hard to win the race…

Looking at it’s soaring popularity, i would like to take this opportunity to put up some reviews of this marvelous engine by our drivers in malaysia. Just a short introduction:

The B3 is an excellent choice for the smaller and medium size circuits where torque is important. Priced affordable, it’s for the racer wanting the most “bang or the buck”
