Firstly, this is not a new news where Jared Tebo racing with Taylor James and certainly this is not happening this year. It was actually happened last year 2007 and posted at Youtube on October 13th 2007 by jsmbrown. The track was at Real R/C Raceway at Pleasant Hill, MO Track and brought to you by www.real-rc.com. They said the showdown between Jared and Taylor was a must happen. We are not sure the real reason why but we guessing that this race between them two only was to see who is the champion among the champions. Can you guess who gonna win if this is your first time seeing it?
For us, both are very talented young drivers. Even though they are young in comparison to our average local racers age here but their experiences and if we have to say, trophies are just awesome and remarkable. Jared was driving the new O’Donnell buggy while Taylor driving the Jammin /HongNor X1CR buggy.

On the race:
Cavalieri and Maifield were both awesome, qualified 2nd and 4th. We tried some more things on the setup and the cars are coming along nicely. Unfortunately the weather was terrible for practice so we didn’t get much track time. Also, Saxton was ill all weekend and not at 100% strength.
In the main the top 5 broke away (Cavalieri, Truhe, Maifield, Tebo, Bradley) and stretched out a gap. A flame-out by Truhe gave Cavalieri some breathing room with Maifield in 2nd. Pudge had a cracked part in the front end that flexed open in a crash and popped out his upper arm…..we fixed it in the pits and he lead until the 49 minute mark. A crash on the big triple made it pop out again and one of the parts fell off so we couldn’t repair it. Maifield got into the lead but a miscommunication with his pitman caused him to run past pit lane and he didn’t have enough gas to make it around again. He made a great charge at the end but didn’t have enough time to get around Jared (who drove great and mistake-free at the end).

At last, the moment we all been waiting for. [tag]O’Donnell buggy[/tag] is out with their first pictures. thanks to [tag]R/C Car[/tag] for their World Exclusive Official Photos of this [tag]buggy[/tag]. For me the brand O’Donnell buggy is not complete without mentioning the great Pro driver, [tag]Jared Tebo[/tag]. With Jared help in the development of this buggy and of course with the O’Donnell team too, do one ever wonder with doubt that this O’Donnell buggy came out with a very nicely finished buggy with C-hubs, front and rear, very beefy suspension arms and gold anodized machined shock towers. I don’t. Just check the pictures …. great stuff here.
