Sorry for all the inconvenice these past few days. We were actually busy looking and shall we say, decoding new theme for this old rc news blog to cater for the coming 2009. New things coming, so we decided we also need to upgrade to whatever necessary upgrades we could laid our hands on.

Firstly, the WordPress 2.7 Coltrane . It is much needed for the security and the stable fast loading of this blog. Yes, we know we need new theme. We admit, we felt the same way like you do, this blog is boring with its old design. Two years and still the same. LOL.

WE doing this part time so everything is on the rush. Thanks to all rc partners, especially RedRC.net, Neobuggy.net, Buggy-sport.info and many more that keep providing us news BUT we failed to update it here. We even got email to ask whether we still alive or not. Sometimes we totally forgotten of the time when we should publish the news. By the time we got into it, its like the news is last week or even worse, last month. Sad but true. Maybe we should get one of this Patek Philippe watch to keep us on track. Yep, probably we ought to get that. We too complicated and too high tech therefore we need totally high quality watch too.

Yea, we know, we rambling here – as usual. You can click the “X” button on the top right or just click back to wherever you are. We understand.

Anyway, just to inform, we are on a very stable server now and we are on a very secured platform. All we need is of course nicer blog theme. yes, we hate this red, black theme too. LOL. Till next rambling, we love you and please continue rc racing. Tata.

Being the organizer is no easy task. You have to take responsibility on many things and that may include the confirmed racer hotel booking, their transports to the track, transponder aka race computer man, the camps and not to mention the pit table whether they are enough of not. We are not talking some computer desks here. We talking real decent enough pit table to cater 100 plus racers with enough space to do their car maintenance. The track need to be prepared. Surface crack is totally need to be abolished. Driver stand stairs that uses wood as steps need to be replaced. You do not want racers to step and break it and fall onto their faces. No no.

I tell you, not easy and not enough hands to do it. Most of them, if not pre-built like the camp and pit tables, your own transponder computer man and of course the trophy and medals. All need some amount of money beforehand to make it confirmed arrived at the practice day; day before the main race days. We talking big money here and the only way to make it enough to pay all of that without going bankrupt is through the entrance fee collected from the racers.

Bear in mind, not all racers paid in front or transfer money through the bank before the race. the organizer need to fork out the money from their own business. Don’t talk about making money by organizing any race, talk about the burden of preparing all these conveniences to the racers by the organizer. It is one tough job.

Now when the race days coming, we talking about just on the final day before the qualifying, the weather break loose. The heaven open up and start blessing everyone with its tears. Hello to the tropical rain and welcome the umbrella and rain coats. Just imagine that. After all the preparation and money spent, weather just decided to put on halt everything. It rained non-stop from early morning till the next day and even rains on all the pre determined race days. How sad and how frustrating is that? Do you think the organizer like it? What about the racers coming all the way across the sea? Paying air flight fees that amounted enough to buy another car kit and with spare parts to bring to the race? What do they think? Do you think they are happy with the rain or they just happy to be among rc friends and just enjoy chatting while waiting for the rain to stop? You tell us.

Now again, after all this, as a racer, would you ask back your entrance fee? Do you think it is right to ask for it? Now think as the organizer. After all that you have spent preparing for this big race, the weather just stop everything there, right in front your face. Are you mad about it? Or you simply happy to get hold the entrance fee to justify with all the expenses? Do you, as the organizer “Need to” return the entrance fee because there is no race to run? Once again, you guys tell us. Provide your feedback for everyone’s discussion.

For us, it is complicated enough to find the setup for any track, what more in this dilemma. We do not intend to get involve. We merely open this for discussion. Honestly, we do not want to be the organizer. We do once in a while wanted to just sponsor the lucky draw prizes. That alone is good enough for simple acknowledgment.

Sorry guys. I know this is a RC news site but this blog happens to be a personal passion blog too for me. I need to rambling once in a while when things not going as I wished for. So, you may ignore this post if you are not up to it.

Just to share some insight, I am really worry on this coming HMS 2008 October GP Race. I am still not found the right setup for my Xray NT1 and what more head ache, the one class I thought I wanted to excel, the 1/8th Nitro Class with my new Motonica P8.0R 2008, is still without engine. Everything seems to fall NOT on the right places.

You feel bad simply because others expected better performance from you – that is why you’re sponsored (remember that!) You feel like stomach ache, all the butterflies and as if you need some kind of colon cleanse procedure. All at the wrong time.

The weather is one of the main factor here. It has been raining wild especially on the day I’m schedule off day. Guess what, yesterday my working day in the office, it shines bright right till night time!!! You can even use the 42 shores tire and still stuck on the track like on the rail. Man, I am so bad luck.

I just hope the time I go down the track, it will bright and sunny. I just need few tanks to get the setup. Oh please allowed me!!!!

Yeah, its that break again for some rc leisure talk here. It is not that we don’t know anything about rc or heard any rc news out there. It is just we are not interested in it. However, some products need to be mentioned and some rc news need to be published whether we like it or not. Simply because we are sponsored!!!! Hahaha.

Anyway, we are really quite busy with ourselves trying to get into the real nitro on-road racing. We after all offroaders. WE love dirty things. We love dirty tracks. We are not used to asphalt track. We preferred the dirt, the grass and occasionally, the mud.

However, life is not all rosy or beautiful. Even though maintaining off road track is much easier than the on-road track, we are indeed still lack of a single off-road track here. Sad but true. We just have to bite our lips and join the on-road guys. Hate it but got to. It is in the blood to race radio control and being at home, with no offroading is just not good for your health.

So, we bought ourselves a few 1/8th car kits and test them. Serpent 960 is the first choice obviously here in Sabah however our chief editor cum owner, Mr JonehRC decided to go for the most uncommon car in any track in the country Malaysia, the Motonica. Hahaha. Surprise eh? Okay, we stop here to hear any comment from anyone about this car. The kit not even arrived yet! Oh my goodness!! Told by our LHS it is coming all the way from Italy. Waaaaaahhhh. The land of our favourite Ferrari! Yesss!!

Our other thoughts:
If you are not careful with your eating, no diet pill in the world can cure your health and you may end up like the dead engine with broken crankshaft. Hahaha. We’ve seen friends gasping for air when asked to fetch his driver’s car. Too much fried food we reckoned. Hehe.

When you have been out of touch for so long with this blog, you tend to talk about stupid things. I just hope I will not discourage all of you. There has been a bad connection from my place to this blog and updating it is like asking for the lottery company to give me the Jackpot One Million. Geez, so frustrating. So please forgive me.

Other than we cannot access the gallery upload thing, we also been busy trying to make friends with other rc friend that about to be a busy father off the track. Yes, we been looking for some unique baby gifts for them. Oh so sweet. One thing in our mind, of course we going to give them a small token rc style. We planned to give them, the new born baby a Micro T Losi Products. That will be totally cool. At least, if the baby is a girl and not interested in the gift, the father will surely love it. Hahaha.

Okay, we just wasting everyone’s time here. Please go back where you were before this page. Thanks for accompanying us here, The RC Dudes!
