Is there such a thing radio control insurance?

Our friend just lost all his RC belonging when he left them at one of the recent race he attended. He lost his truggy kit, another spare kit with all the necessary parts. Starter box and even his KO radio. He estimated his lost around MYR9,000. Man, that is a lot. To add to the wound, all that RCs stuffs are bought on interim meaning, through his savings and paycheck. The only thing he did not do in front of us was crying!
