Once again, we are proud to feature another record win by our friend and top driver for Team CEN Racing, Gene “the machine” Hickerson. He won on the previous 5th round at Farmer’s Raceway of the Florida State Offroad Series in the 1/8 truck class and now on the final 8th round, he once again Top Qualified the truck class for the incredible five times TQ. This of course resulting him as the FSORS Champion for the 3rd time in 3 years! Well done and congratulation, Gene!

The previous post we made for the French 1/8 Nationals Race is actually NOT and OLD NEWS. The race is actually happening on the previous weekend, 23rd to 24th June. Same goes to the B Main Class. Nevertheless, the result still the same. Renaud Savoya still the crowning champion for the A Main Buggy class.
Now what is left is the “B” Buggy Nationals Main Champion.

The Proline Nitro Maxx Challenge 2007 has just come to an end last weekend at The Dirt Track in California. It was reported that all the major brand teams are there. The entrants reached over 180 racers and this definitely created a very busy qualifying weekend and action packed race event.
The interesting part of the race, both of the Top Qualifier(TQ), like Team Losi, Adam Drake in Buggy and Hobao, Jeremy Kortz in the Truggy class was not in the final top spots. It was Ryan Cavalieri who took the Top Spot in the buggy class for Team Associated RC8 Buggy. In the truggy class, Billy Fisher was the man to beat. Well, at least Adam Drake won the 1/10th Truck he TQ’ed earlier. Another interesting fact to note, Chad Bradley with his two Jammin rides, was always there as the top 3 guys.

Thailand nitro off-road championship , Buggy party round 3/2007 raced on April 28-29,2007 at Topspeed Circuit . Chalee, Mugen MBX5R/Orion, from Team PRC Mugen won the race while his teammate Meen with his HN/Orion combo who took TQ did not finish the race. There were 60 buggy cars, 25 monster truck and 9 truggy in the race.

The Mar Hau Beach Resort offers Surfing, Body-Boarding, Diving, Snorkeling, Sea Kayaking, Wind Surfing, Beach Combing and Sun Worshiping in a private and secure location. RC Pro intends to construct a high-speed, high-flying and flowing track design where speed, control and endurance of both Driver and equipment will be tested. Rich red clay from deep inside Puerto Rico’s interior will provide the moist track surface. Track area will be approximately 200′X 100′. There will be fresh running water, covered pitting areas, compressed air and permanent restroom facilities track side. The Drivers stand will face north towards the ocean so you’ll never forget this racing location.
We will have a total entry limit of 225 for this event. There will be a 150 RC Pro Caribbean member limit, so there will only be 75 entries available to North American and International racers.
RC Pro will open event registrations upon our official “ground-breaking” ceremony this April at the beautiful Mar Hau Beach Resort in Isabella Puerto Rico.

The second XRAY Off-road Challenge was held March 16-18 in Brno. The race was combined with the Toy Fair which was situated at the well known Brno exhibition. Almost 90 drivers from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Austria, Poland, Hungary, and Estonia participated in this event. Of course Team XRAY was well represented with its team drivers from Slovakia (Martin and Juraj Hudy), Czech Republic (Martin Bayer, Martin Pater, Michal Bok), Austria (nitro on-road specialist Manuel Huber), and Germany (SMI team drivers Oliver Simon, Tobias Deike, Andreas Rauch and Gerhard Besenhard).

Atsushi Hara TQd and won the 2006 Buggy Party Race held in Thailand this past weekend. In the end it was easy for the Hot Bodies racer who took the win in the hour long final by over 5 laps ahead of 2nd placed local racer Yuthana D. driving a HoBao. Fellow Thai racer Charlee was 3rd for Mugen, 2 laps further back. Interestingly in 8th place it looks like Norwegian driver Viggo Andreassen!
