Acorn Racing has sign up another Team Driver Alan Hoon who is also the founder of 1/8 electric off road in Singapore. Alan will be working part of Team Acorn Racing and racing for the Team in the work year 2010/2011.

Alan has been in the racing industry for several years now and is a multiple winner of several 1/8 electric races including 2009 RCMC Race & was placed 2nd position in the current 2010 RCMC Race (Radio Control Modellers Cub ). He has been performing well with the use of Acorn Racing Matched and Custom Packs for the 1/8 off-road electric class.

” I have used many different brands of batteries before . Never Have I used such small, light, powerful batteries that provides such consistency before. ” – Alan Hoon

Alan is also sponsored by Hobbywing, Upgrade RC, Hong Nor and Rc Monster. He will be working closely together with Acorn Racing to test & feedback to improve Acorn Racing line of products.

This is a new partnership with the Team at Acorn Racing and it will definitely be a good pillar to bring up fair and competitive racing for this new 1/8 electric Off-Road class in Singapore!
